Junior Delivery Manager

Essential functions

• Manage client expectations from deliverables perspective and own execution of programs and projects within defined constraints

• Establish and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, and become the primary go-to delivery person on all project matters

• Ensure project stakeholder governance and communication both client facing and internal

• Be a servant leader and ensure prompt issue resolution

• Provide status updates and be responsible for progress reporting

• Design and maintain development roadmap, project plan and documentation

• Streamline and optimize processes, interaction & communication flows, delivery

• Monitor and proactively resolve risks & issues

• Exploit opportunities and participate in project/account development activities and pre-sales exercises

• Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit

• Expanding the team by finding and attracting the right, both from our internal pool of available engineers and the market. Own the hiring manager role for every new role in your projects.

• Help newcomers to speed up and become fully operational in the team

• Mitigate attrition risks, proactively work with client management on it

• Motivate, develop, support and enable succession planning for your team members

• Partner with Romania location leadership team and help contribute to location growth of business, expertise and talent

Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT Project Management / Delivery Management in a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Delivery Manager role

• Experience in people management, performance management, financial management of projects and programs and supervision

• Ability to manage enterprise-grade solutions delivery with multiple teams in end-to-end mode

• Good communication, negotiation and customer collaboration skills

• Customer-facing experience is a must; experience communicating with critical decision-makers

• Knowledge of Scrum and SAFe, and Agile delivery methodologies

• Ability to define ways of working, set the methodologies, and fine-tune processes

• Experience in cooperation and direct communication with customers and engineering teams from multiple geographies and different timezones

• Fluent English

• Fluent Romanian

• Customer success management, sales & negotiation, business development experience

• System and business analysis skills or product ownership background

• Good understanding of Enterprise set-up, security requirements and compliance policies and procedures
