Technical Project Manager

This is a hands-on position where you will be involved in requirements analysis, functional and technical design discussions, testing, proof-of-concept, working with partners, and more. This is not a task-based job and you will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery. Strong fundamentals are a requirement but you have to have more. Essential functions

  • Drive and ship large, multi-functional programs and feature areas
  • Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent features including scope, requirements, timelines, and prioritization- Day-to-day will include program managing, execution, risk assessments, in order to meet the overall program goals
  • Foster collaboration across a broad team of cross- functional partners to formulate roadmap and manage intake pipeline- Play an active role in improving how features are built and executed
  • Help set the strategy and communicate status and issues to stakeholders at all levels- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Anti-Fraud, Business Operations and other organizations to develop and improve the suite of features

Education

BS/BA Degree and/or MBA preferred

Qualifications

  • Program or technical project management in software development is required
  • Strong technical proficiency – machine learning infrastructure experience or data science experience is a plus
  • 3+ years of program management, including experience taking features through the complete software development life cycle
  • Built global products by collaborating across Product, Engineering, Data Sciences, Analytics, Design and other key partners
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
  • Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous input into solid action plans
  • Consistent track record of shipping complex customer- facing and backend engineering projects under demanding timelines
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
  • Best-in-class communication and presentation skills (written & verbal) to all levels of an organization
