Staff Search Engineer
We are looking for a Staff/Senior Staff Search Engineer to join our team, This position requires someone to work remotely in the Central time Zone.
Essential functions
- Lead and execute the technical implementation of Solr
- Design, build and maintain an enterprise-wide federated search & analytics infrastructure.
- Apply data mining, NLP, and machine learning (both supervised and unsupervised) to improve relevance and personalization algorithms.
- Build and deploy integrations to connect Solr to a variety of data & content sources.
- Work side-by-side with digital product owners, software engineers, and UX designers to build federated and personalized search experiences that deliver highly relevant search results to users.
- Optimize and tune search queries and indices to improve search relevancy.
