Senior Java Developer

Essential functions

The Software Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the transition and management of Java based services/applications. The role provides a mixture of team leadership and ownership as well as engineering. You will be challenged to solve complex technical problems with unique solutions, identify improvements and work on implementing your recommendations. We are looking for someone can help  to break tasks down not only to implement the solution.

Should be available to provide support from 8 AM to 5 PM CST.

Qualifications

Hard Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Programmer and Sprint boot framework.

• Solid knowledge in: Kafka, SQL, JSON and Couchbase

• Proven track record of leading teams, collaborating effectively, and delivering projects using agile methodologies.

• Skilled in designing and developing Microservices

Would be a plus

Nice to have:

• Cloud-native principles and experience building scalable, reliable, and cost-effective applications on GCP (GCP experience is preferred but could be AWS).

• Skilled in designing, developing, and migrating applications to microservices architecture, leveraging technologies like Spring Boot and GCP.

• Dynatrace.
