UX/UI Leader
Reporting to the Director of Experience Design and Research (XDR), you will lead and support our European XDR practitioners, as well as transform experiences for both internal initiatives and externally for our clients and their customers. This highly collaborative role requires close coordination with stakeholders across Grid Dynamics and our client partners as you pioneer intuitive solutions that simplify complex processes and significantly enhance the lives of those they are built for.
Essential functions
Shape and drive the long-term experience design and research strategy, contributing to the global XDR team’s vision and impact.
Demonstrate the value of design within Grid Dynamics and to our clients by measuring, celebrating, and advocating for exceptional user experiences and team achievements.
Lead engaging workshops to define, ideate, and refine product roadmaps, ensuring alignment and clarity in execution.
Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering an environment where practitioners can thrive and do their best work.
Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to support practitioners' skill development and career growth.
Champion a customer-centric, data-driven culture that delivers meaningful insights that drive measurable business results
Socialize insights with direct reports and x-functional partners to align and drive impact throughout extended working groups.
Ensure seamless collaboration between XDR, product management, and engineering, balancing short-term needs with long-term experience excellence.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive products, and evolving customer needs to inform and elevate design best practices.
Enhance Grid Dynamics’ reputation as a leader in experience design by attracting and retaining top XDR talent. Support speaking opportunities, encourage industry engagement, and cultivate a strong talent pipeline through networking, referrals, and internal development.
Qualifications
To Be Successful, You Should Have:
Experience in senior design and leadership roles, with a proven ability to collaborate closely with executive teams to drive strategy and innovation.
Demonstrated success in elevating products, teams, or organizations to new levels of impact and excellence (see portfolio expectations below).
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, crafting compelling product narratives that inspire both customers and internal teams.
Proven ability to design for diverse user personas across various industries, delivering meaningful and effective experiences.
Strong analytical mindset, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to drive informed design decisions.
A well-established network within the design community, spanning professionals at all career stages.
Deep interest in AI, with tangible examples of how you or your team are shaping the future through innovative design.

Do your case studies present the entire journey, including research, user flows, wireframes, testing, iterations, and decisions?
Do you include work in progress or unused concepts to highlight your problem-solving approach and demonstrate what didn’t work and why?
Are you able to communicate a clear vision that aligns with long-term goals for the team, company, or industry?
Demonstrating Results
Have you included data, metrics, or qualitative feedback to show the effectiveness of your designs?
Do you highlight improvements or key learnings that resulted from your work?
Clarifying Your Role
Do you specify your unique contributions and responsibilities in each project?
