Data Engineer
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join us and to improve the process of data governance and data quality.
Essential functions
Participate in design and development of Big Data analytical applications from product vision to implementation.
Design, support and continuous enhancement of project code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
Investigation and resolution of performance and stability issues in production systems
Collaboration with global distributed team, corporate and customer’s IT services
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering with exceptional skills in Python
Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets and relational databases
Expertise in AWS services, especially Glue, Athena, MWAA (Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow)
Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka or Firehose)
Experience with third-party solutions and APIs
Would be a plus
Proficiency in data modelling techniques and best practices
Experience in implementing data contracts
Experience in applying data governance policies
Experience with data quality frameworks (Great expectations, Soda)
Familiarity with the data mesh architecture and its principles
