Senior Database Developer
Grid Dynamics, a global software services company driving enterprise-level digital transformation solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations, is looking for a Senior Database Developer.
Essential functions
Design and implement data migration strategies from MS SQL to Oracle.
Develop and optimize Oracle database schemas, stored procedures, and queries.
Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure seamless application integration.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration process.
Provide technical guidance, best practices, and documentation for database-related processes.
Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork and creativity are the key for success
Qualifications
Strong experience with Oracle (PL/SQL, performance tuning, indexing)
Hands-on expertise in MS SQL to Oracle migration
Experience in query optimization and database structure improvements
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Understanding of Storage Procedures
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies in particular
Would be a plus
Oracle Architect capabilities
Experience with AWS and RedShift
Knowledge of MS SQL
