Data Scientist

Essential functions

• Design and implement vision models and other advanced deep learning architectures for image classification, object detection, and segmentation tasks

• Develop and optimize data pipelines for large-scale image datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and storage

• Create and maintain ETL processes to integrate diverse image data sources into our AI systems

• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure the integrity of image datasets

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models in production environments

• Conduct exploratory data analysis on image datasets to uncover insights and improve model performance

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for computer vision applications

• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Experience with data engineering tools and practices, including designing data pipelines and ETL processes

• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark for large-scale data processing

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for model training and deployment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize model performance
