HR Operations Specialist
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will manage the entire employee lifecycle from contracts to benefits and compliance. Your role is critical in ensuring our HR operations are smooth, compliant, and aligned with our global policies.
Essential functions
Manage all HR operations, including contract management (employment contracts, addendums, terminations, etc.)
Administer HR systems to ensure accurate data entry across the employee lifecycle
Oversee employee benefits, including enrollment and tracking
Process and manage absences and leaves of absence (e.g., medical leave, maternity/paternity leave).
Prepare and verify payroll inputs, including bonuses, medical leave tracking, and timesheet validation, ensuring compliance with Romanian laws
Issue employment-related certificates (e.g., verification of employment, references)
Develop and communicate HR policies, staying ahead of changes in local employment laws
Collaborate with vendors, legal advisors, and the Global Mobility department
Provide necessary documentation to the Global Mobility department to support onboarding, transfers, and offboarding of foreign employees.
Support onboarding and offboarding, aligning with company policies
Maintain process documentation, conduct data audits, and manage HRIS systems
Enable the smooth integration of expatriates, partnering with international HR teams
Act as a cultural bridge, advising on Romanian HR practices
Qualifications
4+ years in HR Operations, with expertise in payroll, benefits, and compliance
Strong knowledge of Romanian employment legislation and payroll laws
Proficient in HRIS systems, and advanced in Excel
Fluent in Romanian and advanced English skills
Proactive decision-making, problem-solving abilities, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information
