Senior SRE

Essential functions

• We seek a Data Platform Infrastructure Engineer skilled in AWS and Kubernetes to build and maintain the infrastructure powering our data platform.

• You'll ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale systems, developing tools and dashboards for monitoring and management.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD is essential. You'll collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to build, test and maintain robust data platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ YOE, with 5+ years of experience working with large scale infrastructure systems and cloud environments

• Hands-on experience in AWS / EKS  and knowledge in its ecosystem. Experience in scaling and operating Kubernetes

• Programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java, bash scripting

• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Druid - administration, rollout, maintenance

• Experience working with monitoring tools

• Excellent communication skills is a must, experience working with customers directly to explain how they would use the infrastructure to build solutions that meet their business goals

• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment, flexible to adapt to changes

Would be a plus

• Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role
• Programming experience in Java and Python
• Knowledge on Machine Learning and AI
