Data & AI Digital Transformation Account Manager - Hybrid Work - Madrid/Barcelona
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven software services account manager, specializing in selling data, AI and cloud solutions. In this role, you will leverage your understanding of the services industry to drive sales of our software solutions and services that enhance data management, AI and cloud modernization capabilities within various business verticals. Experience in partnerships driven sales, and proven record of working with hyperscalers, will be advantageous.
Essential functions
1. Account strategy development: develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target clients, focusing on data, AI and cloud solutions. Identify and qualify potential customer leads, understand customer needs and build appropriate propositions, using Grid Dynamics’ services and solution accelerators. Work closely with technology solutions, partnerships and delivery teams to propose compelling solutions and services to customers.
2. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client and partner organizations. Propose demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase the value of our software services. Collaborate with clients to assess their current data management and AI capabilities and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements. Provide consultative selling by offering insights and recommendations to improve clients' operations through technology. These might include:
modernization data platforms to improve insights
building enterprise AI platform development to enable AI/GenAI use cases to optimize efficiencies or starting new revenue streams
product development
3. Proposal development: Prepare and present compelling proposals that address client needs and highlight the benefits of our software services. Work with internal teams to create customized solutions and pricing models.
4. Sales pipeline management: Manage and track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
5. Build local presence in the region:
Work closely with existing accounts to articulate and propagate our domain knowledge. Find meaningful intersections with Data and AI technologies to create new opportunities and prospects
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape within data analytics, and AI. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services and establish connections.
Work closely with marketing, technology, delivery and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging and delivery of software services.
6. Nurture and expand partnerships: The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in driving sales through partnership channels, including hyperscalers like MS Azure; Data products like Snowflake, Databricks, Confluent, Dataiku, FS ISVs and LLM solution providers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
- Proven experience in software sales, and in collaboration with partner network
- Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
