Senior Java Engineer – Cloud Migration & High-Performance Systems
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to play a key role in migrating a high-performance application to Google Cloud, enhancing scalability and reducing maintenance efforts. You will work on rebuilding the solution with a modern tech stack, ensuring smooth data center migration, and aligning the UI with cooperative design guidelines. This is an opportunity to work on a complex, multi-phase transformation.
Essential functions
Develop scalable backend solutions in Java and migrate applications to Google Cloud.
Rebuild the system with a modern tech stack, integrating In-Memory Data Grids (GridGain/Ignite).
Ensure a smooth data center migration (DC by DC) with minimal disruption.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to align development with business goals.
Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the system.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Java development, 5+ years.
Expertise in Google Cloud and cloud-based application migration.
Hands-on experience with In-Memory Data Grids (IMDG), ideally GridGain/Ignite.
Proven ability to work on large-scale migration projects with high availability requirements.
Would be a plus
Experience in distributed systems architecture.
Knowledge of high-performance computing and caching strategies.
Familiarity with UI adjustments following design guidelines.
