Senior DevOps Engineer
Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration & Infrastructure Optimization
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of a high-performance system to Google Cloud, optimizing infrastructure, reducing maintenance costs, and improving SLAs. You will work closely with engineering teams to rebuild the solution around a modern tech stack, ensuring a smooth data center migration (DC by DC) and seamless integration of managed GCP services. This is a key role in transforming the supply chain infrastructure.
Essential functions
Migrate infrastructure and applications to Google Cloud, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
Optimize cloud performance, security, and observability using GCP-managed services.
Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application deployment.
Qualifications
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud migrations.
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in cloud environments.
Knowledge of networking, security, and performance optimization in cloud-based systems.
Would be a plus
Experience with GridGain/Ignite or other In-Memory Data Grids (IMDG).
Familiarity with Java-based applications and cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of supply chain or enterprise-scale infrastructure.
