Product Owner
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our growing team.
Essential functions
1. Align with Product team:
o Understand and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs to the team.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for the front-end and back-end teams and assist product team.
2. Sprint Management:
o Guide front-end and back-end Product Owners (POs) in managing sprint commitments, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features.
o Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and progress.
3. Backlog Management:
o Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories, tasks, and defects are well-defined and prioritized.
o Work with the teams to refine backlog items and ensure they meet the definition of ready.
4. Technical Collaboration:
o Leverage knowledge of Vue.js, Node.js, Java, Rest Services/APIs, Spring Boot, and AWS to collaborate effectively with development teams and understand technical constraints.
o Ensure seamless integration of new features with existing systems, including SAP S/4HANA for order management.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the primary point of contact between the product team and stakeholders, including Nike’s engineering and
product leaders.
o Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues, and manage stakeholder expectations.
6. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and align with the defined product requirements.
o Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to drive improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
o Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
o Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Support Integration testing with the program for the different test
- Participation in requirements gathering and refinement with client stakeholders
- Transformation of requirements into Epics/User Stories/Tasks in Jira
- Creation of project documentation in Confluence
- Organization and hosting of Scrum ceremonies like Planning, Refinement and Demo.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in agile environments.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (Vue.js, Node.js) and back-end technologies (Java, Spring Boot).
• Experience with AWS services and SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- 5+ years working experience as a BSA or Product Owner on IT projects
Would be a plus
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems and cloud-
based solutions.
