Senior DevOps Engineer

Essential functions

• Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Define and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and IaC across the organization.
• GCP Architecture & Management:
  • Design and manage scalable and secure GCP infrastructure (GKE, VMs, networking).     
  • Optimize GCP resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipelines:
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Implement and manage Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Ensure infrastructure consistency and repeatability.
• Kubernetes Management:
  • Oversee GKE clusters, containerization, and Kubernetes security.
  • Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, and networking.
• Observability:
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Collaboration & Automation:
  • Work closely with development, QA, and security teams.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of demonstrable DevOps experience, with a strong GCP focus. 
• Proven expertise in GCP infrastructure architecture and design. 
• Deep proficiency in Terraform and Kubernetes (GKE). 
• Strong CI/CD pipeline development and automation skills. 
• Experience implementing and managing observability and DevSecOps practices. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. 
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python.

Would be a plus

• Relevant GCP and Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, CKA).
