Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java)

Essential functions

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Perform integration testing across multiple cloud services and ensure data consistency.

• Identify and fix UI bugs in React-based applications to maintain a seamless user experience.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and service teams to validate features and address issues.

• Ensure consistency in UI elements, terminology, and user flows across integrated services.

• Validate both “happy path” and edge cases, ensuring services function correctly across the stack.

• Work with IAM, quota services, and provisioning workflows to ensure proper integration and security compliance.

• Create and maintain test documentation, bug reports, and automation scripts.

• Ensure project timelines remain on track by driving efficient QA/UAT cycles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Automation QA testing for web applications.

• Strong experience in Java-based test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).

• Solid understanding of React and ability to identify and fix UI bugs.

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

Would be a plus

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

• Knowledge of cloud services and integrations, with experience in IAM, quota services, and data provisioning workflows.

• Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot front-end and API issues.

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
