Senior UX Designer

Essential functions

• Internal Tool Design: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize internal tools, enhancing usability and functionality while aligning with business objectives.
• Pre-Sales Support: Work with the sales team to provide UX insights and design expertise during pre-sales engagements, ensuring design considerations are part of the sales process.
• Workshop Facilitation: Lead design workshops with clients and internal teams, fostering collaboration and ideation around new features, product improvements, and strategic UX initiatives.
• UX Practice Contribution: Play a critical role in shaping the UX practice by sharing knowledge, supporting junior designers, and helping to establish design standards and methodologies that drive innovation and efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment between design solutions and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of work. The portfolio should clearly communicate the problems you solved, your process, and the impact of your solutions on the user experience and business objectives.
• Ability to lead and facilitate workshops, encouraging open dialogue and idea generation.
• Experience supporting pre-sales engagements by providing insights that add value to the client’s business needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of design systems, UX best practices, and user-centered design principles.
• Strong understanding and practice experience in usability testing and prototyping methods.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design work.
