Senior Delivery Manager

Essential functions

• Lead and manage globally distributed engineering and project teams.
• Oversee the delivery of both implementation and support projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring compliance with Service Orders (SO), Contract Execution Plans (CEP), Service Level Agreements (SLA), budgets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Establish, maintain, and improve reliable delivery processes in line with industry best practices and corporate PMO standards.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards according to initial planning and client expectations.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities.
• Support business development and the implementation of organizational standards.
• Identify customer needs and oversee service delivery within the business context.
• Establish effective communication between Grid Dynamics project teams and client organizations.
• Expand the team by attracting external talent and developing internal employees.
• Define and implement training and knowledge-sharing programs.
• Manage people effectively.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
• 8+ years of experience in Delivery/Project Management.
• Experience in managing large programs, accounts, or portfolios.
• Proven ability to create and manage globally distributed delivery teams for international clients.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with modern project management methodologies and software engineering processes.
• Demonstrated success in attracting and retaining top talent.
• A background or experience in software engineering is preferred.
• Experience in developing distributed, high-load systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate effectively in a diverse, large-scale environment.
• Fluent in English.
