Java Developer (with Networking Expertise)
Are you an experienced Java Developer with a passion for networking technologies? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our team and work on cutting-edge Java networking tools and open-source projects.
Essential functions
Enhance and support an open-source networking library built on top of Netty.
Develop and scale ServiceTalk adapters bridging Apache HTTP APIs to ServiceTalk.
Refactor legacy systems for improved performance and maintainability.
Design and implement new services and APIs, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Java development, with experience in open-source HTTP frameworks and API design.
Deep understanding of network stacks and internet protocols, including TCP, TLS, HTTPS, and HTTP/2.
Proficiency in Reactive Java and asynchronous development.
Experience in building performance-critical applications with a focus on optimization.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
Would be a plus
Hands-on experience with Linux networking and sockets.
Familiarity with modern engineering practices and agile development methodologies.
