Sr. Backend Engineer

Essential functions

• Develop and maintain robust back-end applications using Python, Node.js, Go, or Swift (on server).

• Design and implement tools that validate Markdown-formatted text locally and in pull request builds.

• Build and integrate solutions leveraging LLMs as a library of functionality.

• Create a Slackbot powered by an existing LLM.

• Work hands-on with project engineering teams to ensure optimal implementation approaches and adherence to high code standards.

• Contribute to the enhancement of software development and testing processes.

• Collaborate effectively with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience with one or more back-end languages: Python, Node.js, Go, or Swift (on server).

• Strong understanding of LLMs and experience building solutions utilizing them.

• Proficiency in developing tools for validating text and building automated solutions.

• Experience with creating and deploying Slackbots is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
