Senior DevOps Engineer

Essential functions

1. Streamline software development processes and improve infrastructure efficiency to ensure seamless deployment and operations that bridge the gap between development and operations teams

2. Implement DevOps best practices

3. Automate workflows and tasks

4. Optimize system performance

5. Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily GCP)

6. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines

7. Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes clusters

8. Implement and manage configuration management systems

9. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code

10. Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

11. Ensure system security and implement best practices

12. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues

13. Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and performance

14. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes

15. Document processes, configurations, and system architectures

16. Support activities needed for project execution

Qualifications

• Strong Programming skills in NodeJS / JS, Bash

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions

• Clouds: GCP

• Containerization/Orchestration: Kubernetes, Kustomize

• Excellent communication skills
