Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Essential functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain Spark on Kubernetes infrastructure
- Optimize cluster performance and resource utilization
- Monitor system health and implement alerting solutions
- Automate deployment processes and scaling operations
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment
- Configure and optimize Spark jobs for performance
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with data scientists to support ML workflows
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements
- Create technical documentation and runbooks
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Support capacity planning and resource optimization
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery procedures
- Provide technical guidance to development teams
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience
- Strong Apache Spark expertise, especially on Kubernetes
- Advanced Kubernetes cluster management skills
- Experience with scaling and optimizing large distributed systems
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools
- Strong infrastructure as code skills (Terraform)
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Knowledge of performance tuning and resource optimization
- Experience with metrics collection and log aggregation
Nice to Have:
- Prior SRE experience
- Experience with ML/AI workloads
- Java/Scala development skills
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)
- IPv6 networking expertise
- Experience with Spark Operator
- MLOps knowledge
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Development background
