Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/GUI Frameworks)
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team, which is responsible for migration of the tools and services to new infrastructure. Engineers joining this project will help to automate the process and improve & enhance it. Our Client is is an American consumer electronics and fitness company. It produces wireless-enabled wearable technology, physical fitness monitors and activity trackers such as smart watches, pedometers and monitors for heart rate, quality of sleep and stairs climbed, and related software.
Essential functions
- Contribute to migrating services to tools and infrastructure
- Maintain and update platforms and services used to manage front stores
- Handle order lifecycle
- Create new automation to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Support users of these systems across the company
- Routinely collect feedback from internal customers to improve services
Qualifications
- Experience with Java GUI frameworks, like: Swing, JavaFX, AWT, SWT, JGoodies, Apache Pivot, Griffon, Qt Jambi
- OR Frontend engineer with Java experience.
- Demonstrated expertise with open source/Linux environments
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate
- Experience working with MySQL
- Experience in designing and automating repetitive processes
- Experience with Prometheus or other visibility tools
- Excellent organization and communication skills
Would be a plus
- Experience working with 3rd party ecommerce platforms (SAP, Digital River)
- Experience designing and implementing production commerce services
- Experience working with Springboot, Gradle, Cassandra
- Experience in configuring and optimising CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of design patterns, engineering/refactoring/architecture best practices
