Staff Software Engineer

Essential functions

·      Developing and prototyping scalable React applications.

·      Determine the scope and content of test cases, to cover code with unit tests for 90%.

·      Assist team with design review, PR reviews, and gathering team metrics.

·      Communicate with product owners.

·      Setup the top-level architecture of the project.

·      Setup best development processes in the team.

·      Communicate with other teams to define common tech practices and processes.

·      Follow Scrum process.

·      Work with the following tools/technologies: React, Redux Toolkit, CSS in JS, Material-ui, Micro-frontends, and Antlr..

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any other closely related field.

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

 1.     Developing and prototyping scalable React applications

2.     Redux Toolkit

3.     CSS in JS

4.     Material-ui

5.     Micro-frontends

·      Two years of experience must also include at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

 6.     Building polymorphic applications with SSR

7.     Next.js
