Essential functions

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using Python for the backend and React or Vue for the frontend.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate requirements into functional applications.
• Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack and continuously optimize application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in full-stack development, Java, and JavaScript frameworks.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Python: 5+ years of experience with Python for backend development.

• Frontend Framework: 5+ years of experience with either React or Vue. Familiarity with both is a plus.

• Database: Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• RESTful APIs: Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus) and modern ES6+ features.

• HTML/CSS: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).

• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Would be a plus

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Fullstack Python Developer, with a strong focus on web application development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language for back-end development, using design patterns and following best practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies, including React/Vue, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS or Azure, particularly in deploying and scaling applications.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize fullstack performance and responsiveness.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and present ideas clearly.
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior developers.
