IT Project Manager

Essential functions

·      Customer-facing delivery process and project management, ensuring that software development projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

·      Manage Stakeholders relationship, build mode of operation and communication channels between Grid Dynamics delivery teams and client organizations.

·      Set up, maintain, and improve delivery process in accordance with industry best practices and corporate standards.

·      Adhere to best practices in Agile methodologies and work in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as part of the overall delivery strategy.

·      Engage in roadmap planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, as well as interfacing directly with clients to set expectations and provide project updates.

·      Align project and program management processes with the customers’ project management framework.

·      Manage process of creation and sharing of project status reporting process.

·      Increase transparency of delivery organization by regularly tracking and accurately reporting status and metrics.

·      Collaborate closely with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure all deliverables meet predefined quality standards.

·      Various worksites—the position may allow for remote work; position may involve relocation to various unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and other company offices.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in any engineering field, Computer Science, Project Management or other closely related field. 

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Project management leading software development projects from inception to completion with a focus on customer-facing delivery.

2.     Agile Methodologies & Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including the ability to train and consult teams in its implementation.

3.     Developing and implementing operational and delivery processes to optimize efficiency.

4.     Client relationship management and communication.

5.     Resource allocation & risk mitigation in project management

6.     Working with DevOps teams to optimize and streamline software delivery processes.
