IT Project Manager

Essential functions

·      Maintenance, development, delivery, and support of all onPrem and SaaS products, as well as design, development, and delivery of hybrid solutions for the transition period for OnPrem/SaaS/Hybrid (Cloud).

·      Develop technical proposals based on the cybersecurity market demands and research of industry trends.

·      Develop high-performance business applications, from requirements gathering to the output operation.

·      Determine the scope and content of test cases and provide complete verification of compliance programs for their functional purpose.

·      Prepare programs for debugging and conduct debugging.

·      Draft necessary technical documentation.

·      Form project teams and develop technical tasks and coordinate technical tasks for the team.

·      Collaborate and drive cross-functional cooperation with other teams and departments.

·      Oversee day-to-day troubleshooting efforts, agile executions, and task planning, as well as sustenance release delivery and Next Gen integration implementation.

·      Direct supervision of approximately five (5) Software Engineers.

·      Various worksites--job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. 

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Developing onPrem, SaaS and Hybrid solutions with the emphasis on multi-language development.

2.     Project management and planning, including development and delivery planning, resource allocation, architecture design, tech discussions and cross-team collaboration, architecture reviews and engineering commits, engineering documentation, product demo and presentations, and risk management.

3.     Google Cloud Platform

4.     NUTS/Pulsar

5.     Direct supervision and management of at least five (5) software engineers
