Software Engineer

Essential functions

·      Design, develop, improve performance and functionality of web service API.

·      Develop and maintain OneTrust automation process flows to handle privacy that complies with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

·      Perform all levels of testing including functional, integration and system for components of eCommerce platform.

·      Architecture, develop and maintain custom automation frameworks using Java and Maven.

·       Configure and support CI/CD pipelines for test automation of Web API’s using Jenkins and Concourse.

·      Work in a Cloud environment within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

·      Create and support test documentation, including test plans, test strategies, test cases and test reports.

·      Analyze and investigate production issues and incidents, elaborate steps to reduce risks and improve application quality metrics.

·      Various worksites--job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. 

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Requirements gathering and analysis.

2.     Web API development using Spring, Spring Boot

3.     Front-end Development using Angular

4.     Database Design and Development using MS Sql Server and MySQL

5.     DevOps - AWS

 Two years of experience must also include at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

6.     CI/CD-Jenkins

7. Quality assurance and testing using JUnit and Mockito
