Senior Software Engineer

Essential functions

·      Application design, development, and maintenance, including design of the whole application’s architecture, tech stack, and codebase structure.

·      Implementation of an initial boilerplate of the app, its pages, components, authentication and authorization flows, data api-services, data mock handlers, and tests.

·      Perform deep code-reviews, ensuring that the application code is clean and maintainable.

·      Lead team meetings and monitor team’s daily progress.

·      Delegate sprint tickets to developers, balancing overall team’s efficiency with each developer’s professional growth.

·      Conduct grooming sessions with the team to explain and clarify all the planned deliverables.

·      Describe technical requirements for each task the team takes into sprints.

·      Interact with the customer around the product design, future development plans, and quarter plannings.

·      Work in an Agile (Scrum) methodology environment.

·      Various worksites--job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in any field. 

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     JavaScript

2.     HTML

3.     SCSS

4.     React

5.     Enzyme

6.     Gang of Four (GOF) Patterns

7.     SOLID Principles of Object-Oriented Coding

8.     Technical team lead, including working with the customer to define the scope of work, collecting detailed description of requirements, defining the tech stack, and building applications
