Project Manager

Essential functions

·      Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work.

·      Participate in new Business Development.

·      Manage customer expectations and relationship.

·      Ensure that projects are delivered in line with Grid Dynamics process and methodologies.

·      Address customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with the Account Manager.

·      Work with the customer to ensure completion of projects on the customer-side.

·      Identify and manage engagement risks and flag issues.

·      Participate in overall project management, time estimation, and resource scheduling.

·      Prepare engagement revenue and resource forecasts.

·       Prepare engagement timesheets and billing information.

·      Prepare weekly/monthly engagement reports.

·      Prepare estimations on time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to implement projects; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables.

·      Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.

·      Assist in analyzing client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows, or solutions.

·      Direct supervision of approximately ten IT professionals (DevOps Engineers, Big Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists).

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Management of projects, including quality control, deadlines of tasks, budgets, and risks.

2.     Operational Management of a project team

3.     Maintaining project and technical documentation including schedules, technical specifications, functional requirements, and financial reports.

4.     Customer communication, including approval of plans, terms, requirements, and budgets

 Two years of experience must include at least ONE (1) year of the following:

 5.     Working on T&M, Fixed Price, and Managed Services projects

6.     Executing projects in Agile Methodology

7.     P&L, Gross Margins, Revenue Target

8.     Figma
