Senior DevOps Engineer

Essential functions

·      Architecture, develop and maintain custom deployment automation using Bamboo, Java, Bash and Helm.

·      Configure and support CI/CD pipelines for the orchestration of resources hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

·      Assess, plan, and execute migration of applications between on-prem and GCP.

·      Analyze and investigate production issues and incidents, elaborate steps to reduce risks and improve application stability metrics.

·      Manage medium-sized team of approximately 6 DevOps Engineers, perform technical interviews for new hires, create development plans for subordinates, attrition prevention.

·      Various worksites—job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

 ·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Management of resources in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

2.     CI/CD configuration using Java Specs in Bamboo

3.     Development of custom CI/CD workflows using Terraform

4.     Development of Kubernetes deployment workflow using Helm, Docker and ArgoCD

5.     Provision environments using Ansible

6.     Design and build MLOps pipelines to deliver Data Science models
