Senior iOS Developer

Essential functions

·      Design and develop advanced iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C programming languages.

·      Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

·      Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, correctness, and maintainability.

·      Write clean, maintainable, testable and efficient, code following best practices and coding standards.

·      Create comprehensive test cases, utilize unit testing mocking and stubbing techniques.

·      Engage in debugging and resolving issues, including performance issues, memory leaks, crashes, and other technical challenges.

·       Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, improving memory management, network connectivity, and battery efficiency.

·      Collaborate with backend engineers to define and implement APIs.

·      Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality of the application through testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

·      Continuously improve the development process, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

·      Document code, technical designs, and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a clear understanding of the project.

·      Various worksites; job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. 

·      At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:

1.     Programming languages: Swift, Objective-C

2.     iOS Development

3.     Continuous integration and deployment tools.

4.     Dependency management tools

5.     Issue Tracking: Jira, ClickUp

6.     Version Control Services: Git

7.     Project Management: Scrum
