Senior DevOps Engineer

Essential functions

• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes & Helm.

• Set up monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, etc.).

• Handle alerting and incident management (Alertmanager, Thanos, PagerDuty).

• Implement IaC with Pulumi or Terraform.

• Administer PostgreSQL databases.

• Build CI/CD pipelines for on-prem infrastructure.

• Script with Bash & Python.

• Configure Jenkins/Maven, Docker, Nginx, and Ansible.

• Maintain Linux systems and ensure on-prem networking.

• Work with RabbitMQ for messaging.

Qualifications

Knowledge of:

• Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Telegraf, OpenTelemetry)

• Kubernetes & Helm

• Alerting/incident tools (Alertmanager, Thanos, PagerDuty)

• IaC (Pulumi/Terraform)

• PostgreSQL administration

• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Maven)

• Bash & Python scripting

• Docker & Docker Compose

• Ansible, Nginx, and Linux system administration

• Networking for on-prem infrastructure

• RabbitMQ

• Basic GoLang knowledge

Would be a plus

Knowledge of:

• Artifactory

• AWS

• Snowflake (data warehousing)

• Puppet

• AWS Route 53, Security Groups, NLB/ALB
