Engineering Manager
We are looking for an Engineering Operations Manager to join the Engineering Management team.
Engineering Organization is responsible for professional development of personnel, bench management, development of practices and technical training, and building communities for practices. Engineering Organization team takes an active role in the allocation of personnel to projects. Works in close collaboration with Delivery Management, Recruitment, Staffing, Sales, Operations and CTO organizations.
Essential functions
Work closely with the Delivery Management, Recruitment, Staffing, Sales, Operations, and CTO organizations to ensure alignment on project goals, resource allocation, and overall engineering strategy.
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand strategic goals and align team efforts with business objectives.
Oversee the professional growth of team members by identifying skill gaps, organizing training programs, and providing development opportunities.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance within the team.
Support bench management by ensuring the right personnel are available for projects and growth opportunities.
Continuously analyze and optimize engineering processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance targets (KPIs/OKRs).
Lead process transformations at the corporate level, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and enhance quality.
Support the adoption of best practices for engineering management and operations across the team.
Qualifications
English, upper-intermediate, or advance
Project management
Experience managing team of 40+ people
Experience and hands-on experience with Google Sheets, JIRA, Google Slides
Wide knowledge of technologies (on the level of understanding and supporting discussions in the following areas: FrontEnd, BigData, Data Science, Mobile, Quality Assurance, DevOps, Java, etc.)
Be able to participate in late-hours meetings one-three times a week
Experience and desire to work based on KPIs or OKRs targets
Be able to go on the business trips abroad few times a year (from the few days up to a month)
Would be a plus
Experience working with BPML
Experience with BI tools (SuperSet, PowerBI)
Experience implementing transformations to the processes on the corporate level
