Middle DevOps Engineer

Essential functions

What You'll Do

• Infrastructure as Code: Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform across cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• CI/CD: Develop and maintain pipelines with Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, or similar tools.

• Containerization: Build and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Automation: Write scripts using Python, Go, or Bash to automate configuration, deployment, and monitoring.

• System Reliability: Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Infrastructure Management: Work with tools like HashiCorp Vault, Zookeeper, and other infrastructure components.

• Networking: Occasionally troubleshoot and optimize cloud networking technologies, including BGP and VPC.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 1.5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.

• Proficiency in cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash).

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, or similar tools.

Would be a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bonus points for experience with Aurora/Mesos, HashiCorp Vault, and Zookeeper.

• Familiarity with the EFK/ELK stack.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
