Data Engineer (Pentaho)
We are seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in SSIS and Pentaho to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data flows and ingestion processes to support our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and build scalable ETL solutions that ensure high levels of data accuracy and performance.
Essential functions
- Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS and Pentaho.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
- Design and implement database schemas, data structures, and processing systems.
- Ensure system performance by monitoring and tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, and maintain high levels of data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SSIS, Pentaho, and other ETL tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
Would be a plus
- Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics API’s
