Grid Dynamics Named a Leader Among Midsize Agile Development Service Providers

Analyst report stacks up 13 top providers with Grid Dynamics ranking highest in the strategy category

SAN RAMON, Calif.–()–Grid Dynamics, a leading provider of technology consulting, agile co-creation and scalable engineering and data science services, today announced it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Midsize Agile Software Development Service Providers, Q2 2019 report.

Led by Forrester analysts Duncan Jones and Christopher Condo, the report evaluates 13 of the most significant midsize agile software development service providers to help application development and delivery (AD&D) professionals select the right partner for their needs. Providers are measured against 22 criteria, with co-innovation, agile transformation and development velocity identified as key differentiators.

Grid Dynamics received the highest score in the strategy category and achieved the highest score possible in the sub-categories of co-innovation, business strategy, engagement and commercial model, and talent management. Through its scores in the leadership and growth prospects criteria, the report recognizes the company’s visionary leadership team’s clear focus on agile co-creation services, superior growth trajectory and distinctive value proposition. Grid Dynamics also received the highest score possible in the culture, process, and training criteria, which is defined as having a superior track record of developing differentiating solutions for clients via collaboration.

Forrester acknowledges Grid Dynamics’ reputation for hiring top engineers. The report states that “Grid Dynamics takes great care to recruit the best local talent, targeting the top 10% in each of its locations. Customer references confirm that this results in superior quality, albeit at a slightly higher price than vendors that operate from some other offshore locations.” According to the report, customers also praised Grid Dynamics for their “willingness to proactively suggest new ideas, push back on unclear requirements, and go the extra mile on behalf of clients.” The report concludes its Grid Dynamics’ profile by stating, “it is one of the best choices for AD&D leaders who want to augment existing Agile teams, but are struggling to recruit locally.”

“Our mission is to make disruptive technologies accessible for our clients,” said Leonard Livschitz, CEO of Grid Dynamics. “The key to our success has been a business culture that puts products over projects, customer success over contract terms, and real business results over pure science experiments. We’re happy to be recognized by Forrester and named a Leader in the midsize agile software development market.”
