Victoria Livschitz, Founder and CEO of Grid Dynamics, is an industry authority on Java, grid and cloud computing. She built her career on engineering high-performance, scalable systems to improve business processes for Industry-leading corporations such as Wells Fargo, Ford Motor Co., and Sun Microsystems. In 2006, she saw Web 2.0 companies struggling with challenges that had previously been limited to only the largest companies—how to build systems that could reliably handle peak user and processing loads.

Ms. Livschitz created Grid Dynamics by assembling an elite team of architects, engineers and mathematicians who possess deep expertise in engineering high performance systems and solving complex technical challenges. Many of the engineers on our team possess doctorate degrees and awards from International competitions such as TopCoder and the ACM World Championships; our founder was recognized by Sun Microsystems as the Systems Engineer of the year. This focus on academic and scientific excellence allows us to attack complex technical problems and deliver predictable results.

In today’s rapidly evolving and confusing technology landscape, we provide the thought leadership and technical know-how to deliver results from design practices and methodology to application roll-out. Some of the complex and unique technical challenges we have solved for our customers include: architecting an industry-first commercial "utility computing" offering, pioneering the use of transactional grids for real-time fraud detection for the world's leading credit card company, applying semantic web technologies to develop a rule-based grid configuration management system for a 22,000-node grid, and developing industry-first best practices for building data-aware enterprise grids.
